“Reyna ni Diget”
(Queen of the sea)
Inspired by the majestic and world-class coastline and product of Palanan, this costume truly embodies the artistry and craftsmanship fitting only for the “Reyna ni Diget” or the Queen of the Sea.
It is just rightful to use Palanan’s known product, Sabutan, in making this costume with interwoven strips of futuristic, fantasy and classy approach shaped and meticulously curated to create the entirety of the gown.
To complete the look, the bodice was done in a scale-like design and fin-like accessories are put to give the costume an impression of an under the sea creature, thus, a homage to the rich aqua-biodiversity that Palanan has to offer.
A piece indeed that shares a glimpse of the hidden paradise. Bow down to thee, here comes the queen of the sea….
